Elopements and Micro Weddings were already a trend before 2020. And now that the “big day” $30,000 weddings are impossible, a lot of people are breathing a sigh of relief. The stress is lifted both financially and practically as the moving parts are dialled back to the essentials. Of the things that I would want if I were getting married today would be my best friend and my immediate family, nice music, great food and wine and some photographs that capture the authentic moments of the day. A few lovely portraits of me and my sweetheart would be necessary as well.
My Micro Wedding Essential Package includes a 6x6 inch 20 page book (archival and fine art quality) and a beautiful, framed 8x10. Two hours of coverage include the ceremony and guests with bride and groom, then bride and groom formals. The Essential Package is $1200. A la Carte extras include wall art any size, increase in the size of the book, and folio boxes with matted images. Social sharing sized digitals are provided of any print purchased. I have been photographing weddings for 20 years. In the past 5 years I have moved from weddings and into fine art portraiture. You can visit the website for that work if you are curious. lakecitypictures.com If COVID restrictions are eased to the point where we can once again use my studio, that becomes an option for classic wedding images.
If you’d like to chat about how your wedding could look and what you would like to see in terms of photographs please do give me a call.
